Abstract
Design for Emergency is a global platform for initiatives to address the emergency caused by Covid-19 pandemic through design. The project involves three distinct phases: data collection through research with users, data visualization by means of infographics, and design challenges for the proposition of ideas to be shared under creative commons license.
The project was conceived by Sara Colombo and Paolo Ciuccarelli, from the Northeastern University Center for Design. The Brazilian version is coordinated by Denise Dantas, leader of the Design in Action research group (Labdesign / FAU USP), and counts with the collaboration of Sara Goldchmit (Labvisual / FAU USP) in the phase that regards the Semeando Ideias (Seeding ideas) challenge, carried out in partnership with Museu da Casa Brasileira museum.
