Abstract
The research aims to survey, organize and analyze graphic pieces produced in the Graphic Programming Laboratory of FAUUSP (LPG), from its foundation, in the 1970s, to the present day, as well as the design and language processes associated with the techniques and technologies used. for your production. It is about rescuing the memory of this laboratory that carries part of the history of Brazilian graphic design, and which had and still has fundamental participation in the training of students at this Faculty, with the guidance of technicians and teachers of Visual Programming. The Laboratory operates on three fronts of activities: development of editorial projects, graphic production, and teaching. This research will be an important starting point and foundation for future investigations of an experimental nature in the field of graphic design, and can host scientific initiation, masters and doctoral research.
