[completed] Visual storytelling and cross-platform design on the bottom of the pyramid

Abstract
This research plan to be carried out during the next two years - 2020 to 2022 – aims to analyze media and information target at the New Brazilian Middle Class, also called C Class. Brazilian social pyramid has undergone a significant change, reversing the tendency verified between 2002 and 2014. Such changes, together with technology improvements, have changed the strategy of content creation on different communication platforms, considering print and digital media. Considering the generation of Visual Storytelling and Evolving Visual Design, the research will identify cases of adaptation of visual and editorial language to establish an iconographic data base. Human aspects such as cognitive, emotional and persuasive effects and their behavioral consequences among readers will be considered during the work. The research’s results will be the publication of a website with analyzed cases and the registration successful methods of those cases for later testing and reproduction in other vehicles target at the same audience.
