Abstract
This project aims to promote the interaction between the University of São Paulo and Brazilian society throughout innovation in the sense of contributing to national development, stimulating the establishment of human rights and reducing inequalities by democratizing access to design and architecture in the context of Brazilian popular housing in large cities. The research seeks to promote diversity, culture and artistic production beyond the limits of the university through digital content production and publication. The website, with the spread of information on specific social media profiles, will bring the results of visual documentation from the interior of the Brazilian popular home on the edges of the city of São Paulo. Women of communities in a vulnerable situation in the metropolis will take pictures registering the environment they live in. This visual documentation will reveal aesthetic, constructive and formal characteristics. The iconographic data will be the basis for the development inside and outside USP of initiatives related to the following fields (United Nations sustainable development objectives): poverty eradication; health and wellness; gender equality; industry, innovation and infrastructure; reducing inequalities; responsible consumption and production; sustainable cities and communities; peace, justice and effective institutions.
